Sultan An Evening with Dr. Wafa Sultan: A Profile in Courage, a Woman of Conviction
Thursday, December 3rd at 7:30PM. Sultan will be speaking at Ahavath Torah Congregation,1179 Central Street, Stoughton, MA

"Most Muslims, if not all of them, will condemn me to death when they read this book."  These words were written by Wafa Sultan, author of A God Who Hates. Sultan is a Syrian-born, Arab American psychiatrist who speaks out about what she feels is wrong and hateful about aspects of Muslim culture.  Sultan will be speaking at Ahavath Torah Congregation on Thursday, December 3 at 7:30 PM.

Sultan is known popularly as "That Muslim Woman on Al Jazeera," singularly distinguished by her audacity and her willingness to openly speak her mind in a culture that would seek to subjugate her every thought, opinion and emotion. Subsequently, she has been hailed by Time magazine as one of the world's 100 most influential people.  She is looked upon as a defiant, passionate force against the misogyny she argues is inherent within Muslim culture itself.

The public is warmly invited to hear this courageous woman speak her mind freely and  publicly.

Cost is $15.  For more information, contact the synagogue office at (781) 344-8733 or via e-mail at office@atorah.org.
