Public transportation is just around the corner. Washington has a great metro system.

 Go to Metro Opens Doors to see how to get where you're going using mass transit.
http://www.metroopensdoors.com Click on Metro Opens Doors to find your way around. The DC bus stops at Seminary Place and Georgia. Forest Glen metro on the red line is the closest metro stop. Both are approximately 3-4 blocks from the B&B.

Bus
  • The MATA Bus is available, but requires exact change cash ($1.35) or a SmartTrip card, which can be purchased at the entrance of the metro .
  • The Metrorail or subway system is also available. Subway passes (SmartTrip or Farecards) can be obtained at any Metro station. Vending machines accept small bills only.
