Welcome to Miss Becca's Home Page! 

Please let me introduce myself to you, my name is Rebecca Pelton and I am the on-site science teacher at Greater San Diego Academy.  

I attended college at the University of Oregon where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science with an emphasis in Environmental Education.  I then went on to National University in order to gain my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.  I recently earned my Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade Mathematics. 

Before joining the GSDA team I worked in the San Diego Unified and Encinitas School Districts.  I am excited about continuing my teaching career at Greater San Diego Academy and am looking forward to getting to know more of the parents and students.  

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and spent my summers on the Russian River in Northern California, which is where my love of the outdoors began.  When I am not working I enjoy reading, swimming, playing tennis, traveling, camping, and spending time with family, friends and my French Bulldog Bugsy.
