This drummer represents the older dying breed of drummers who are now being replaced by the young girls and boys who are not from families traditionally engaged in the trade of drum beating. This drum beating has become a regular practice in the recent years with synchronised movements and beats. Earlier the job of playing the drums was confined to a fixed community but that has now withered away with time. Now the ...drum beaters, mostly engaged otherwise in schools, colleges and other jobs practice the drum beating much like the "Drum Circles" that function at lots of places around the world.
