2 teaspoons oil
1 clove garlic 2 cups long grain white rice 4 cups liquid (water, broth or a combination of both) 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon butter
In a saucepan, heat the liquid to boiling.
In a large pan with a tight fitting lid, heat the oil and add the minced garlic. Stir over medium heat for 30 seconds. Add the dry rice and stir to coat evenly. Pour in the boiling liquid. Cover with the lid. Reduce heat to low and set the timer for 17 minutes.
Fluff with a fork. Serve hot. |
