As fate would have it, our paths crossed on June 8, 2005. After a long day at the beach with my Philly girlies, I decided to meet up with another friend at the Borgata in Atlantic City. Little did I know, Rocco was also on his way to the Borg. We ended up sitting next to each other at a blackjack table for a couple hours (he claims he saw me and came over) making small talk about where we worked, lived, etc.  Later that night we went our separate ways...I left to go back to Philly and he went back up to north Jersey.

A few days later, I received two dozen red roses at work, on the card was Rocco's phone number. About a week later, after talking non-stop, we decided to meet up and go jet skiing. After taking way too many *sick* days to go up and visit him, I decided two months later to move to north Jersey.  We were engaged on May 2, 2006, less than 1 year after we first met =)
