SCHEDULE FOR January 8-15, 2009 RELIGION: We will be learning about Mary.
DOL-Daily Oral Language: We are working with nouns, and verbs. We have now added adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, and conjunctions to our daily oral language. ENGLISH: We will be working on subjects and predicates in our textbooks.
Spelling: This week we have Spelling words with or. Our four extra words are exciting, trail, defend, and marsh. Our bonus word is colonel. Our test will be Friday, January 15th. Math: We have started multiplying. Please begin to have your student memorize their times tables. Start with the twos and fives since they already have been counting by twos and fives since kindergarten. Then go back and add threes and fours etc. Reading: This week we are reading "Papa Tells Chita a Story." The test will be Friday, January 15th. Science: We have finished the Senses Unit and will begin the Polar Unit. BookReport: January book report is to read a biogrpahy The children are to dress up like their character while they give their book report.
