This beautiful bear themed mountain retreat is located in beautiful South Park Colorado, 90 miles from Denver, 1/2 mile from the Pike National Forest.
The lodge is approximately 1,000 square feet on 2 1/2 fenced acres and is available as either your private place or as a B&B on weekends. There is no additional charge for the B&B weekend services.
There are 2 stocked fishing ponds nearby for your use. Access to the property is year-round.
The master bedroom, Bear Crossing, has a queen bed, great views, and a door leading to the outdoor hot tub 'Bear Pond'.
The second bedroom, Bear Pause, is bright and sunny with three large windows and a full size bed.
The loft, The Cubby Hole, is warm and cozy with views out the skylight of the Puma Hills and has two twin beds.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, full bath with claw foot tub and shower, separate dining room and a washer and dryer. The living room has a great wood stove and a TV with VHS and DVD capabilities. There is also satellite television.
There are two decks. The front deck, great for observing sunrise and for sunny breakfasts, has a gas BBQ grill, and a table seating four. There is also a large outdoor fire pit, great for gathering folks for conversation and stargazing.
