SEISMOGRAPH

**Senior High's Seismograph is currently offline as it is being transferred from the Lincoln Center and installed in the basement of Senior High School**

*We expect is to be fully operational by November 15th*

This AS-1 Seismograph is located in the basement of the Lincoln Center in Downtown Billings, MT and was given to the students and faculty of Billings Senior High School by IRIS and the National Science Foundation.

This website is set up to take a picture of the seismogram screen every 5 minutes.

You may refresh the seismogram by clicking "refresh" in your browser.

How to read the seismogram:

• Each line represents 1 hour.
• The hours are listed on the left hand side in UTC (Universal Time). This ensures that all seismographs in the network are consistent with each other.
  • Subtract 7 hours from the UTC time for our local time (Mountain Standard Time).
• Minutes are on the horizontal axis at the bottom.
