The Bead Society of Central Florida has been a part of the Central Florida Arts and Crafts Community since 1988. We meet once a month to learn from each other and from invited guest presenters, and to share our enthusiasm for the wonderful world of beads. Meetings are located at the Marks Street Senior Recreation Complex the second Tuesday of each month at 6:15 pm.

 

Our meetings include presentations on the history of beads and bead art, information about materials from which common and exotic beads are manufactured, and instructions on crafting. Several times each year we sponsor workshops led by our own members as well as locally and nationally recognized bead artists, as well as special events such as Beading Challenges. Our members are talented, interested, and skilled. We welcome all bead enthusiasts!
