Attitude Adjustment Bench Monday
Attitude Adjustment Bench Monday
Ugh Monday! As a mom of 3 kids I unfortunately can get out of bed in a good mood and have that mood altered by one {or all} of those kids on any given morning but Monday mornings are the worse. I try so hard but I too am tired and can take only so much of the crying in the morning. This morning there were several things wrong; one kid bumped another "on purpose", toothpaste on a shirt, hair in tangles and hurts to brush.... the list goes on and on. Luckily she was in a great mood by the time I dropped her off to school but I realized I had picked up her mood and was having a tough time shaking it. Here comes something I don't often like to admit, I usually feel better after I have exercised so that is what I did. My treadmill and I had a date, it felt good and I pushed myself to run {im a walker usually} and now I have showered and I am ready to face Monday with a new attitude. Watch out week, here I come. 239/365
Run for it!
Run for it!
I never thought I would be able to jog for this long! I've done a lot of walking on the treadmill but have never been able to run for more than a couple minutes - so that's exactly where I started. I would run 2 minutes then add a minute and then before I knew it could do a mile and now 4 miles! Phew - I realy wanted to stop at 3 yet felt I had 1 more in me. Another thing. Taking a picture of the i-phone took awhile for me to get. I admit I have never moved my metering mode out of evaluative (I think that's what it's on - need to read that part of the manual again). Had to go to spot metering to get a clearer shot. Still need to figure that feature out and how/when to use it!
