Lancashire 1008 - Crosby - Gormley - Another Place - No 64
While we were in Lancashire we went to Crosby to see the Anthony Gormley Sculpture - Another Place. There are 100 statues anchored in the sand, this is number 64. It's difficult to photograph as they are spread out and the light was harsh but the sun wasn't out for most of the shots. This young Mum let me include herself and her daughter in the picture.

Lancashire - Chorley - Town Hall
We recently returned to the parts of Lancashire that we knew so well when we lived in Chorley in the 1980's. The town hall occupies a prominent position in the town and sits at the top of Market Street. This is the old A6 and when we lived there it was a busy trunk road despite the nearby motorways.
