Cool Wheels, Kerri!

My brother and I recently redeemed the 2 Groupons I bought for Bike and Roll's (Chicago) 1-hour Lakefront Segway tour. It was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! Our instructor, Chris (??) was patient, funny, and adventurous; a winning combination. Being a Segway Virgin I was apprehensive of mastering the beast but it was a piece of cake! I never felt unsafe or in danger. Taking the tour up north, along the beach and away from the heavy foot traffic of Millennium Park, was a nice treat. We had more room to roam and even do a little "Segway Off-roading." I'll definitely be on the lookout for future Segway Groupons so I can recruit friends for this awesome adventure. It was kind of like a rolling history lesson, tourist adventure and photo op on two wheels, but much cooler than a bike :) Here are some pics. Ocean City NJ -04

* A couple simply enjoying the cool ocean breeze * We headed to Ocean City New Jersey to celebrate a birthday milestone AND because we had never been there before. We are not "beach" people and do not go in the water or sit on the sand baking in the sun. Our interest was in capturing some sunrise images, riding our folding bikes on the boardwalk, and taking pictures of the amusement park rides all lit in colorful lights. Mission accomplished!
