(Ice-box) An Icebox was the common appliance for providing refrigeration in the home before technology (including development of safe refrigerants) made compact mechanical refrigerators feasible.

(Ice Box (arena)) The Ice Box is a 5,010-seat multi-purpose arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was adapted for hockey upon the Lincoln Stars' (a junior ice hockey team) arrival in 1997. The Ice Box is located at 1800 State Fair Park Drive, on the Nebraska State Fair grounds.

(Ice Box (horse)) Ice Box is a Thoroughbred racing horse. He is owned by Robert V. LaPenta, and trained by Nick Zito.

Dry ice/ethanol bath

A relatively cheap and easy way of reaching temps as low as -70C. A lot of people seem to find this pic by googling "how to make a dry ice ethanol bath" or similar, so I thought I'd add some notes on that topic. It's pretty straight forward really; take a styrofoam box, some ethanol and some dry ice, and voila! The only thing to note is that the styrofoam WILL leak ethanol, so putting it on a big wad of paper towel is an excellent idea. The temperature can vary greatly, so a thermometer is also recommended (duh!).

your blood for ice

First results from the icey hole... essentially - colour neg film, wrapped around a dunny roll, frozen in a block of ice. Ice block placed in a black box with pinholes on four sides. Leave outside under tungsten light for about 15min. Melt the ice (in the dark) dev in novaspeed, dry, scan negs, position in PS... and yeah. this is it. happy.
