Benefits of membership

Annual dues cover:

- Right to Enrollment in the group medical policy for Dentists, spouses, and staff

- Ability to retain Major Medical coverage in retirement for dentist, spouse and retired staff

bulletMembership in the Bermuda Credit Association ( currently  a $340 value)
bulletAffiliate membership in the Commonwealth Dental Association
bulletInvitation to occasional social events like dinners at the "Trat" paid by the BDA
bulletThe Annual Conference -usually three days (12 to 15 hours of continuing education credit) including reception.
bulletUse of the Peer review mechanism for dispute resolution should a problem arise.

Participation in building the Mercer Fund, our fund for loans and scholarships for Bermudians studying dentistry, hygiene and dental assisting, and lab technology.

Members are required to attend 50% of association meetings.

Annual dues are $450 for dentists and specialists in private practice in  Bermuda.  Your Annual Conference fee is included in your dues.

Annual dues are $100 for dentists practicing in Bermuda and employed full time by the Bermuda Government Health Department.  You may also attend the annual conference for the special reduced rate of $350.
