Herbie is a sweet Bichon (perhaps Poodle mix as well). He’s about 6 yrs old and weighs about 20lb, but he’s quite tubby and is currently working on weight loss :-) Herbie is an extremely sweet, affectionate and gentle fellow. He is very submissive with other dogs and gets along with all of them, even when they try to boss him around! He would probably be fine in a home with cats as well, judging by his very mellow temperament. He is a clam guy, and is content to lounge for most of the day, but he adores going on walks and is pretty good on a leash. Herbie does have some separation anxiety and would do best in a home where someone is with him for the majority of the time. He would also be a great dog for being taken to the office, because he would just quietly sit or sleep for most of the time.

We think Herbie would be a fine match for a family with children as well, because he is so docile and gentle and is just a total cuddle-bug.

Gigi has been ADOPTED

Gigi is a sweet and entertaining little dog with a great personality. She loves walks in the sun (still not a fan of cold or wet weather), following her people around the house, and most of all having a nice lap to curl up in. She would do great with a dog-savvy female as her primary owner, someone who can work with her on her fear issues in some situations. A couple of examples: she is very interested in what is going on around her during walks, but will shy away from bikers or joggers going past her too quickly. She does well with a confident leader who can encourage her in these situations. Gigi gets really excited about playing with her mini tennis balls as long as she can run after them gently rolling, but she is scared of the ball if it is coming towards her.

Gigi's foster parents have been working on her trust issues, and she has responded well to gradual socializing. She would still be best as an only pet, as she does not get along with other dogs up close (she is interested in seeing them go by on walks, but gets snappy if they invade her space). She has done well being left in the house for a couple of hours at a time.

Her modest requirements are a loving owner and a warm lap, and she will reward you with all of her devotion!

PS: Gigi has since gained some weight, and gotten a clean bill of health from our vet, so she is all set for her new home :-)

Luna is a 1yr old Terrier mix (looks part poodle). She is one of the sweetest dogs imaginable. She's curious and likes to explore, but is also very submissive. She's great with other dogs and so far seems to be good with cats (just avoids them). She's also very friendly with all people. Just an all around great little dog.

Luna is spayed and fully vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $450. ADOPTED
