Who We Are

A Little About Us

Bill is a former engineering group manager who worked at Delphi Electronics and Safety in Kokomo, Indiana, USA, for over 30 years. He spent 15 years in factory automation systems and electronics manufacturing. He worked in various management and business development positions for 20 years. In his last position before leaving Delphi in August 2010, he developed advanced safety products for cars. In 2006, he and his wife Cassie brought their family of eight to Kafakumba to meet some of the people they have supported over the years.  Bill is currently the president of the Board of Directors of the Kafakumba Development Projects Fund.

Cassie is a homemaker who has a degree in electrical engineering. She has been involved in leadership in a city-wide women's Bible study group for several years. She and Bill have raised six children along with several cows, chickens, pigs, horses, and cats. For many years, the family raised money for the work at Kafakumba and the Congo through informal chili suppers and musical concerts in their home.  Cassie is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Kafakmba Development Projects Fund.
