BCA Spring Meeting 2012

University of Warwick,
Tuesday 17th – Thursday 19th April

The Spring Meeting is now only just around the corner it seems. We will be returning to Warwick in 2012 and have a great programme prepared. We are extremely pleased to announce that the Industrial Group Plenary session will be given by Nobel Prize winner Dan Shechtman (Discovery of Quasicrystals) on Wednesday the 18th April. Other industrial group sessions at the meeting will cover Process Analytical Technologies and Coatings. We are also running joint sessions on Small Angle Scattering with the BSG and on Phase Transformations with the CCG. As usual we will award a prize to the best, industrially relevant presentation at the Young Crystallographers Meeting. The winner will present their lecture in the Prize Session along with the CCG and PCG prize winners. Details for all speakers can be found in the published programme available on the main BCA web site). Registration for the meeting is now open (early bird rates until March) and one day registrations are also available. So why not join us there?
