My name is Bobbie Burchfield and I have been working in the Graham County School System for seventeen years.  While persuing my bachelor's degree in elementary education I was a second grade and kindergarten assistant.  I graduated from Westeren Carolina University (WCU) in 1999, with a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.).  In 2005, I graduated from Western Carolina University with a Master of Arts in Comprehensive Education (M.A.Ed.). 

     I am married to Loyd Burchfield and I have one daughter, Julie and two grand daughters, Alexis and Abbey.  I spend the majority of my time attending their in and out of school activities. Both of my grand duaghters have been USA gymnast and now are involved in competitive cheerleading.  They are members of the Western Carolina Elite cheer team.  Go Dragons!
