Like a giant bike
Soaring through the sky
Of a small boy who is
Looking for a vehicle
To wheel him to freedom,
Our house hovers
In the haze of tomorrow’s
Sunrise
With cozy wooden windows
Old, dark bricks,
And grass that beckons.
We bicycle our way
Towards the right amount
Of freedom-less-ness
To work enough…
Enough to move in
To our own vision
Of Freedom.
