The nmost recent concert was held on Saturday 14th November 2009 at 3pm at  Nuffield Hall at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (www.rcog.org.uk) on Regents Park.

It was a super concert with many highlights, from young children's first solos, to whole concerto movements, through a hypnotic Pachelbel's canon to an icy Winter concerto from The Four Seasons by Vivaldi, accurately reflecting the stormy weather outside.

The hall was kindly offered and organised by Suzuki parent, Martin Jeffery. In return the Bayswater Suzuki Group will be making a donation of £500 to a global resource bank for the study of the four main complications of pregnancy.

A good deal of money was raised both in the run up to the concert (enthusiastic baking and eating of cakes in the main) and in a post concert collection.

Food and Drink ....

Because the venue doesn't lend itself to the normal interval feast that BSG members are used to,  the group repaired after the ocncert to the nearby Windsor Castle pub for well earned food and drink.

Rehearsal Schedule

The morning rehearsals are at the concert Venue - Nuffield Hall, Sussex Place.

When not rehearsing between 10.40am-10.55am Claire will be in a separate room with bells so that children can join her for a session.  It’s great fun!

All students from Cello II onwards should come to the rehearsal in concert dress.
Concert Dress: (except for Pre Twinkle and Cello) LSG Liberty print for girls or black and white.  Dark trousers and a white shirt for boys.  NO TRAINERS.
Pre-Twinkle and Cello I smart clothes.
 
NO food/drink is allowed in the hall and there is nowhere to get changed - see the note above about eating in the nearby pub..
 
Please ensure you have the music for your piano accompaniment or check that Jillian will have it!
