►Donate your kids' soccer cleats! I am a Landings resident that volunteers my time with the "Soccer in the Streets" program, which is an Atlanta-based organization that dedicates their time/efforts to focus on coaching kids that come from high-crime neighborhoods. Providing the opportunity for these kids to participate in an activity not only boosts self-esteem but allows the children to work hard and set goals for themselves. These kids are in desperate need of cleats. I will be hanging plastic bags on mailboxes with a flyer describing the Soccer in the Streets program. If you could donate any soccer cleats your kids have maybe outgrown, this would be greatly appreciated by the kids in our program.
