BAY AREA POETS COALITION
BAPC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer organization (established 1974) in Northern California.
BAPC publishes POETALK magazine, conducts an ANNUAL POETRY CONTEST
and (along with sponsoring special events in the San Francisco Bay Area)
hosts an OPEN POETRY READING the first Saturday (typically) of every month in Berkeley, California. BAPC OPEN POETRY READING
No first Saturday reading in September. Instead, come to the Annual BAPC Labor Day Potluck Picnic & Poetry Reading Monday, September 6th, Noon-4:00 PM (please email or call for Berkeley location and general info) Next FIRST SATURDAY reading:

Addison is one block south of and parallel to University Ave.
between Acton & Bonar St.
Parking on the street (NOT in the S.C.L. parking lot)
Check in at the front desk and you will be directed to the meeting location (usually 4th Fl Movie Room, or backyard/garden during warmer months).
All Ages Welcome
Come and enjoy a friendly and informal read-around --
3-5 minutes per poet/reader, or "just listening" is fine too :-)
After the reading join us for dinner if you'd like at a nearby restaurant
