Tools Cordless Drill
cordless drill
- A drill or drill motor is a tool fitted with a rotating cutting tool, usually a drill bit, used for drilling holes in various materials. The cutting tool is gripped by a chuck at one end of the drill and rotated while pressed against the target material.
- All the benefits of a corded drill, but without a tether. Allows you to work on top of a ladder, on damp ground and without the tangles of a cord. The tradeoff is that a cordless may not be able to handle more rugged work or have quite the power of a corded.
- similar to the corded drill but it has a rechargeable battery to supply the power that makes it work.

Cordless drills
This is my cordless drill collection. Yes, I am a Luddite, and no, I don't think battery-powered cordless drills are better. We use the top one all the time, but the bottom one isn't as useful since it needs a bit with a square base.

Cut my thumb just testing for incising, not even cutting through! Started with my tube hole cutter, but soon realized that wasn't working. Used a forsner wood drill bit, used up the battery! Took about a half hour to drill holes.
