> I didnt announce this before bc i wanted to see if me and my team could recover it quietly, but since that hasn't happened here goes... > > On Tuesday, August 30th i woke up to find my bike stolen. It was chained and covered, everything was taken. Later on that week it was ALLEGEDLY spotted in the Brownsville / ENY area. So, If you happen to come across a vintage Kawasaki KLX 650c (1995), please call me, Michelle @ 718-249-6590. > > Bike was stock- everything was original except the pipe (supertrapp). the engine is basically brand new as i had extensive work done on it this year. > > Description- Colorful Red and Purple Dirt/Dual Sport Bike- Red Plastics with Purple Seat and Purple Frame. Plastic says "KLX" on it with yellow splash marks. Plate was the old white NY plate 45EP13 with a 2004 red registration sticker. Odometer was disconnected and says 9500 miles (give or take). My left front signal was hanging but everything else is in good working order if not, brand new. And unlike the pic below, i had red stock hand guards. > > The bike is a very unique machine, only made in 1995. So parts will be difficult to get. With that being said- There are only a few more warm weeks of riding left and i'm nervous that the bike will be sitting in someones yard being stripped/parted out when the season comes to an end. If they keep it for next season, the thieves may try to disguise it (i.e.: strip the seat off, spray paint the frame + plastics, etc.). > > I want my bike back, no questions asked. > > Thanks. > Michelle (718-249-6590) > pic attached

Built by Gitielle Moto, the Kawasaki dirt-tracker-style machine you see here is based on a 1975 Z900. Of course, apart from the engine, fuel tank and side panels, very little remains of the original machine. The chassis has been modified extensively, the front fork has been taken from a Kawasaki GPZ900R, the adjustable rear shock absorbers are Bitubo units, the aluminium swingarm is a custom-built one-off item, the brakes (300mm disc at the front, 240mm disc at the back) are from Beringer and the bike’s 17-inch wheels are shod with Pirelli rubber – 120/70 at the front, 160/60 at the back. Other changes include a hydraulic clutch, a custom-built seat covered with special slip-resistant upholstery and the wild green paintjob that you’ll either love or hate...! - From FasterandFaster.net
