Batanes is the northernmost province of the Philippines.  A group of islands composed of the inhabited islands Batan, Sabtang, and Itbayat. 

The landscape of Batanes is rugged - predominantly rolling hills with shores guarded by corals and cliffs.  

The above picture is taken from "Rakuh a Payaman", it's a place where you can see both the two great oceans - the Pacific Ocean and the South China Sea.  A lot of people love this peaceful scene.
