When I first came across this amazing vintage chair, I had a hard time visualizing just how beautiful it could be. The fabric had been demolished from a family pet, but the frame screamed old Hollywood Regency glam. I took the solid mahogany wood structure and stripped it down. All webbing is new, springs have been retied, and the foam and fill has all been replaced. I originally was going to restain the wood, but once I found this fabric, I knew I wanted to paint it bright. The fabric is vintage as well. The beautiful, large whimsical floral pattern is rich in reds, blues and greens and really pops with a natural cream background. The separate seat cushion has been self piped, and all edges are decorated with nickel silver shiny nailheads. I had just enough fabric left to piece together a small throw pillow for the back cushion as well.

This adorable little vintage slipper chair got a fresh, new look with a beautiful Robert Allen floral twill print. The wood has been stripped and painted a clean pure white satin, and the edges all have single self welt piping. All of the foam and fill has been newly replaced. The bright large flowers really stand out on this mid century stunner!
