The 2012-2013 Band calendar has been adjusted to include uniform fittings during band camp.  All other dates remain the same.

Once again, band members will have the opportunity to earn funds by participating in our annual car wash.  The car wash will take place on August 4, 2012 at the Mobile Gas Station at Stearns and Route 59.  Our scheduled time is from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  More information will be distributed during July and will be updated on our website.

We are back from Disney!  Boy, did we have a great time!  Many of our memories have been captured in photographs and video.  We would love to share them with you!  Here are some options:

 

Pictures:  Many band students and families took some awesome pictures.  Dawn Payne has created a site “Let The Band Play” on Shutterfly.  You can access this site to view, copy and order pictures and even upload your own pictures.  To access this site, Dawn will have to invite you as a member.   Just send Dawn an email at dm.payne@comcast.net.  She’ll get that invitation out to you as soon as she can.

 

More Pictures:  The Disney photography staff took several pictures as we marched down Main Street.  You can access these pictures for viewing, editing and ordering at www.disneyphotopass.com.  You’ll need to become a member by providing your name, address and email.  You’ll also need our PhotoPass ID:  LTMB-C7N3-N4Y6-A3G6.  These photos will only be available until February 2, 2012 so order now!

 

Video:  Complete video of the Fresh From Florida Parade (Citrus Bowl Parade) will be available for purchase from the parade organizers beginning on Monday, January 9, 2012.  I believe this is in a DVD format and that the cost is $12.00.  You can contact the organizers directly at 1-407-423-2476 to place your order.

 

Group Band Picture:  A group picture of the band in full uniform was taken prior to parade kick-off.  Information about purchasing a copy will be available soon.  Please check this website for updates.

Band sweatshirts are now available.  An order form was distributed to all students in class today.  This is optional band attire and anyone can purchase one.  Click below for the order form.  Forms and check payments should be turned into Mr. Loucas by November 30th.

The current school year handbook is now available in our Documents section.  It includes important information such as concert dates, grading policy, attendance, attire and much, much more.  Students will be given a copy in class and are responsible for the information it contains.
