About the Players

The Bartholomew Players have been active as an amateur dramatic society for over 30 years. The first productions took place in the Bartholomew School, Eynsham. However with the building of the splendid Village Hall in Eynsham we have established ourselves there.

We have performed many plays including comedy, drama and thrillers, and have taken part in several drama festivals. A list of our past productions is here. The group is a friendly one, and includes people aged from 16 to 80 with a huge range of skills. We are always excited to meet new people with an interest in the theatre. As a group, we enjoy regular pub nights, as well as outings, like going to see plays by other groups.

We hope you'll come to one of our productions and we'd be delighted to have you join the group. We meet most Wednesdays from 8pm - 10pm in Eynsham Village Hall, Back Lane, Eynsham. You can find us using the maps here.
