In any striking run, the first coin of every 100 coins goes to the die owner as payment for the use of the dies. This means that if you order 100 coins, 99 will be delivered to you, and 1 will be set aside as payment to the die owner. If you order 110 coins, 108 will be delivered to you and 2 will be set aside as payment to the die owner. (1+99, which is the first hundred coin set and 1+9 which is part of the next set of hundred coins.) For this reason, it is more economical to always purchase in sets of 100 (such as 100 or 200 or 300, etc.), so that the payment of coins to the die owner always works out to be no more than 1/100th of the striking output.

If you have your own .999 fine silver bullion, you can send it to The Collector's Mint and they will use it for the silver content of the coins you strike (including the coin/s that goes to the die owner.) If you don't have your own silver, you can purchase it directly from the mint. The last time I checked, they were charging 15 cents above the spot market price of silver. (So, for example, if the market spot price is $40/oz, you would be charged $40.15 for each ounce of silver in all the coins you strike. The lastest market spot price, which fluctuates throughout the day, is checked when you place order.)

You will be charged for shipping and handling of only the coins being delivered to you (not those of the die owner.) You can arrange to have your coins shipped however you want, as fast or as slow as you desire. The Collector's Mint will ship to any location in the world. Delivery for the continental USA is typically only two days after the coins are struck.
The Collector's Mint accepts all forms of payment. When you call them, tell them you are interested in striking some of the "Bartering Currency" coins. They will give you a quote based on the number of silver barters you want struck. Here is their contact info:.
