Nigel Vick From 1979 to 2008 I was the Warden of the Oxford School Sailing Association, which provided inexpensive sailing for school and youth groups. In 2008 I retired, with the intention of bringing the model of organization to Barry. I am an RYA Coach Assessor, Powerboat Instructor and Windsurfing SI. I am also experienced in dinghy racing, as an International Judge, National Umpire and Race Officer. I grew up in Barry and am keen that local young people have the opportunity to achieve as much as they are able through sailing. At Oxford there was a fleet of over 100 boats and experienced instructors available at minimal cost to youth organizations. This was achieved by;- 1. Sharing equipment – ODSSA boats were used by various groups all day. 2. Training of leaders and young people to the required standards. I would like your support for Barry Youth Watersports, a company limited by Guarantee No 6759252. Ideally through the creation of a Watersports Base in Barry Docks which would enable all youth groups to access water activity.Brett Seeney
