Welcome to Eighth Grade Language Arts with Mrs. Barrow

... a bit about me...

     This is my sixth year teaching Eighth Grade Language Arts at Hermosa Valley School.   I attended elementary school at St. Anthony's Catholic School in San Gabriel and went to high school at Sacred Heart of Mary High School in Montebello.  I have my BA from UCLA and my Teaching Credential from Chapman University.  

     My husband Quinn and I have lived in Hermosa Beach for over 25 years and my three daughters all attended school at Hermosa Valley.  My oldest daughter, Stephanie is currently in law school at University of Chicago.  My middle daughter, Amanda is in her second year at Amherst College in Massachusetts.  Julia, my youngest daughter, is in her senior year at Mira Costa High School.  I have two cats, Tiger and Furball and a yellow lab named Sandy. 

     I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone.  We're going to have a fantastic year!
