Welcome to our website
We are a
community based rowing club that is open to anyone who wishes to row
Pilot Gigs either socially or competitively. We also welcome membership
from those who just wish to offer their support as social members
without having to worry about actually rowing. Applications will be
considered from adults of all ages; and juniors over the age of 11 (The Junior section will be starting in 2012, we are currently fundrasing for junior oars)
We now have well over 50 members, a brand new race gig "Lady Freda" and 2 training gigs "Odessa" and "Phillipa J". In the 2011 we made ourselves known entering crews in many gig racing regattas throughout the South West of England. We will also be entering more in the coming 2012 season. Look out for us on the water offering social rowing for those who just want to enjoy the water on the River Taw and more competitive training for those who want to compete in Regattas.
