yesterday i went to target and bought this dress. it is too big in the boobs and kind of tight around my stomach, but i really like it anyway. it makes me feel kind of like a princess, even when it falls down in the back and you can see all my back fat. nobody really cares about my back fat except me and people who hate me, anyway, and who cares about the people who hate me? this morning steph and i went out for breakfast, and nothing tasted too salty (which was my problem last time we went to this place). it was all delicious. then i came home and did a lot of work and read a lot of fanfic. this time tomorrow i am going to be in bethesda, and i can't wait. i am so impatient, i want it to be tomorrow already. also i do not want to have to fly. originally i was going to bring a lot of clothing in a big suitcase and do all my laundry at shira's parents' house, but then i realized that i could just wait until i get home and do all my laundry at chris and tammie and fiona's house. so now i am bringing my messenger bag (underpants, two sundresses, a dressier dress, a pair of jeans, a tank top, pajamas, a bathing suit), and my my chemical romance bag (phone & charger, computer & charger, ipod & charger, notebook & pen, knitting). that's it, i am not even bringing a novel. after i was finished working earlier, i tried to make waffles, except i've already finished all my eggs, so i had to make pancake batter and use that, and it didn't work very well. the waffles were rubbery and more than a little gross, but i finished off the milk and the strawberries. tammie gave me some baby tomatoes when i dropped off my car keys, and i'm going to eat those with the last of the hummus for supper. then i guess i'm finished and all ready to go. i even have a peanut butter sandwich and some nuts for the airplane. i was thinking about taking out the trash before i leave, but i probably will not do it. i washed the dishes, that will have to be enough! i just don't want to put clothing back on today.

The Meadow Green sock is featured in my Cat's Pajamas (80% merino, 10% cashmere with 10% nylon). It is knit in the Diamond Lace pattern.
