Fencing Links

Here are some links to useful fencing resources on the internet.

Fencing Sites:

Fencing.net  A nice site with a lot of information about fencing and a discussion forum where you can find anything else you might ever need concerning fencing.

Askfred  Comprehensive listing of fencing tournaments by area.  Make a user name and you can preregister and see who else is preregistered for competitions.

US Fencing Association Go here for your USFA membership registration.  Mandatory for most competitions!  Also club listings near you can be found here.

Equipment:

Blue Gauntlet Good quality, reasonably priced equipment, especially good for beginners

Leon Paul For when you want to look really sexy in your fencing uniform.  My personal favorite brand.  It's from London, what do you expect?

Other:

New!  Stumptuous.com This is a really good site about strength training.  It's geared towards women, but not in that sissy way that most Discovery Health things are about.  I'm sure everything on it is also applicable to men, you should all take a look.  It's very straightforward without any of the bull you normally get from fitness resources.

Also New! Stronglifts 5x5 Another really good strength training site.  I've been doing the Stronlifts 5x5 program since August, and have seen more results than any other workout program I've ever tried.  I highly highly recommend it.  Talk to me if you have any questions!
