7/7/09: I've been breaking bikes for years. On my way home from work—riding on flat pavement—I sheared the spindle inside the bottom bracket of my Trek 3900 mountain bike. The pedal arm tore right off. The sheer force of my pedaling sheared that metal. BMX bikes are tough, but I doubt there's a mountain bike that I can't break. 7/11/09: Update: The spindle was covered by my warranty from Trek. Sam's Bicycle & Repair in Elmwood Park, NJ replaced it at no charge.

All beds on full rebuilds are machined so that their surface is just like new and back to their original specifications.
