Workers put a sign on top of the new residence hall to cheer on the Warhawks. It's Stagg Bowl Saturday. I can't sleep. Combination of excitement for the game, and afraid to sleep - I'm so afraid I'm going to sleep wrong again and those spasms are going to start again. I've popped 4 ibuprophen (is that spelled correclty - you know I just don't care) - I know lots of people take more than that on a daily basis but I don't usually take anything...plus sometimes ibuprophen gives me an asthma attack. I'm a walking time bomb. Listen to me all whiney - some people are in chronic pain every single day and all I have are brain spasms. I really need to sleep but I just can't figure out how without my head hurting. I'm just sooooo tired. How am I going to take down staging later? Why did someone promise to visit me and then bail? Why isn't Chris Isaak coming to Milwaukee anymore? Why is it that I had a super short week but feel like I've worked 72 straight days? Are all my presents going to arrive in time? Will I make it to the dumpsters before Peter gets there? Will I finally fall asleep only to miss Chance's shot?What if those spasms hit at work? How much is that ER visit going to cost? And why can't Directv and Comcast come to some sort of agreement so I can watch hockey? I need to sleep...soothing music and try number 423 coming up. I'll be better with a big win. Go Hawks!
