Baraka Center Coordinators
Nancy Zarifah Kadian and Jack Munawir Mangold are psychotherapists in private practice in Bethesda, Maryland, integrating the psychological and the spiritual. Jack is also an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University, and Nancy leads ongoing women’s groups and retreats. Both have studied Sufism with their teacher Pir Vilayat Khan for over 30 years, teach in the Sufi Order International (SOI), and serve as co-coordinators of the Kinship activity of SOI. Their great love for God and humanity is the guiding impulse that that shapes all of their work.
Driving Directions
From Virginia: Take I-495 to River Rd exit towards DC to Goldsboro Rd. and turn left. Half mile to Bradley turn right. Half mile to Maple turn left to 7001.
From Maryland: From I-495, take Conn. Ave exit South towards Chevy Chase. Turn right on Bradley Lane. Go two blocks and turn right on Maple to 7001.
From DC: Travel north on Wisconsin Ave. Turn right on Bradley Lane. Go 3 blocks and turn left on Maple to 7001. |
