Bannockburn Bowmen is the only target Archery Club in the Stirling and Clackmannanshire area, central Scotland. We meet in Alloa during the Winter Indoor season and in Stirling during the Summer Outdoor season.

Bannockburn Bowmen launch their new Spider (Outdoor) badgesFollowing the success of the original Spider badges which can be claimed at any Bannockburn Bowmen indoor Open Competition, the Club will launch its new range of achievement badges at it's annual FITA and Metrics on 9th June 2012.
The badges will cost £2 each and can be claimed by archers shooting any bowstyle competing in the appropriate (or higher) round for their age group at any Bannockburn outdoor Open Competition. There are seven levels of badge starting at green and finishing at purple. Further details to follow soon.
Bannockburn Bowmen Open Warwicks Charity Shoot - UPDATED Many thanks to everyone who supported the event by competing, donating raffle prizes or helping with all the various jobs that have to be done. We have raised a fantastic £190 for the Dogs Trust West Calder Centre. Results of the Charity Shoot can be viewed here.
Outdoor shooting seasonAs of April 2012, Bannockburn Bowmen's outdoor venue is Strathallan Games Park, Bridge of Allan, FK9 4RB.
Club nights are Tuesday and Friday from approx 6.30pm until dusk, whatever the weather! Please note that all our outdoor seaon competitions will also be held at this venue.
Visitors welcome on production of a valid GNAS/FITA membership card.
Would all members and visitors please respect the 10mph speed limit everywhere within the Games Park.

All bowstyles and abilities are welcome and are Scottish Record Status competitions (Saturday also Thistle status). Please note that Bannockburn Bowmen have just been advised that FLATBOW will also be recognised by the SAA at this event as a seperate category. The club will also recognise any flatbow entries as a seperate category in the Open competition held the same day.
Closing date for entry forms is Friday 1st June, 2012.
STOP PRESS: H-Frame Stands We will have a limited number of H-frame stands available for these competitions. Priority will be given to compound archers, however if you would prefer to shoot on H-Frames and you're not a compound archer, please mark this on your entry form and we will do our best to accomodate you.
Clout Practise Nights available at BannockburnWe will be hosting two "Come 'n' try / Practise Clout" sessions at Strathallan Games Park. These sessions are open to all GNAS/FITA affiliated archers, and will provide an introduction to Clout Archery for those who have never tried it, or a valuable opportunity to practise for those who have done Clout before. The sessions will take place on Tuesday 26th June 2012 and Friday 6th July 2012 starting at 7.00pm (field opens at 6.30pm). Cost for each session will be £5 (seniors) or £3 (juniors) for visitors, or normal shooting fees for Bannockburn members. There is no need to book in advance, just turn up on the night. All bowstyles, and levels of experience, are more than welcome to come and have a go!
Bannockburn Bowmen Open Weekend of CloutMore Clout for your money than ever before (always important in these difficult times)! That's right, this year Bannockburn Bowmen will host two days of Clout Archery featuring:
- Two clouts on 14 July (GNAS Double One Way in the morning and FITA Double One Way in the afternoon)
- One clout on 15 July (GNAS Double One Way)
Archers can enter as many of the rounds as they wish - there is no compulsion to do all three! All rounds are Tassel Status, Scottish Record Status and are stand-alone competitions, but there are trophies for the Treble as well.

Bannockburn Bowmen Open Short Metrics Charity ShootBannockburn Bowmen are holding a fun evening competition on Friday 10th August, 2012 at Strathallan Games Park, Bridge of Allan in aid of Bannockburn Riding For The Disabled. It will comprise of the following rounds:SHORT METRIC & SHORT METRIC I (50/30M), SHORT METRIC II (40/30M) SHORT METRIC III (30/20M), SHORT METRIC IV (20/10M), SHORT METRIC V (15/10M) (ALL ROUNDS ARE 3 DOZ AT EACH DISTANCE)
Tea,coffee, juice and cakes will be sold along with a raffle. Just bring a mug, some change and your bow of course!

Competition events and Beginner sessions/courses held by the Club are by application only, but evening shooting sessions (held on Tuesday and Friday evenings) are open to all Club members and non-Club members who are GNAS or FITA registered.
