 We are a group of ringers who are students at Bangor University. We meet up once or twice a week to practice the traditional art of change ringing. We have people from all over the country and our members range from learning to handle a bell to being able to ring Surprise Maximus (not that we can do that in Bangor due to insufficient bells!). We work very closely with the local bands - the Gwynedd branch of the North Wales Association.
You will find a warm welcome awaiting you at St. David Bangor, and at St. Tegai Llandygai.
However, we don’t just ring church bells. After practice, some (sometimes all) of us head down the pub (which is located just around the corner, very conveniently!), to end of the night's worth of ring! Please come and join us when ever you’re in the area, you will be most welcome!
Sunday Service:
Bangor: 9.10 - 9.45am
Llandegai: 10.45 - 11.15am (2nd Sunday usually)
Practices:
We are made welcome at any of the following
Monday: 7.30 - 9.00pm Llandygai*
(except first in month - Surprise Major at Llandudno instead)
Wednesday: 7.00 - 8.00pm Beaumaris
Thursday: 7.45 - 9.00pm Bangor
Friday: 7.30 -9.00pm Llandudno
* The third monday of each month is a Surprise Minor practice
