Books, Books, Books!!!

Accelerated Reader/STAR Reading--Bancroft started a new reading program last year. How does it work? Easy: 1) Take the STAR test to find out your reading level. 2) Take the Accelerated Reader Quizzes to help you move to the next level.
 
Book Club--Love to read? Then we have a club for you!! The Book Club will start next Friday (September 24) during lunch. Please join us.

A)
The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by Avi-- As the lone "young lady" on a transatlantic voyage in 1832, Charlotte learns that the captain is murderous and the crew rebellious.
B)
Nothing But Drama by ReShonda Tate Billingsley--Four teenaged girls from different backgrounds find faith and friendship after joining Good Girlz, an afterschool church youth group.
C)
Fever by Laurie Halse Anderson--In 1793 Philadelphia, sixteen-year-old Matilda Cook, separated from her sick mother, learns about perseverance and self-reliance when she is forced to cope with the horrors of a yellow fever epidemic.
