News from the Thames Valley Network

 

                Banbury is one of 33 U3As in the Thames Valley Network which has full details of all its activities, with flyers and application forms, on its website.

 

There is an ENGLISH SOCIAL HISTORY study day on Friday 9th March 2012 at the Adams Park Conference Centre, High Wycombe (1 mile from J4 of the M40). It will cover Into the Void (England 400-6500AD), Society in Anglo-Saxon England and The Impact of the Normans on England. National U3A Summer Schools

 

These are from 16th – 19th July at Harper Adams University College Newport near Telford and from 20th – 23rd August at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. The varied programmes include cinema history, France, art, music appreciation, history, philosophy, poetry, writing fiction, drama, literature and psychology. Full details at www.u3a.org.uk.
