Electing to bat XX started cautiously as Adnan Ahmed 32 and Ateeb Rehman 20 put on 40 for the first wicket in 10 overs. This laid the foundation for Ben James to come in and smash his maiden 50 for the club including one six and eight fours as the team reached 135 for 3 in their 20 overs. A tight opening spell of 2 for 9 from Agib Azhar put Marston on the back foot and with Danyal Saghir and Sohail Ali both taking 3 for 10 the Marston innings soon folded at 48 all out in 16 overs. |
