It's Their Fault... Blame Them!
It's Their Fault... Blame Them!
I'm beginning to feel like I need some sort of 12-Step Program here, this was my third visit to the AG store in Dallas... in a month. I can 100% blame Elley for this though, because she just got her childhood dream of Molly off ebay but wanted to go to the store and buy it some new things, and since she talked Shannon into going too, I got a ride from Shannon. It was a super fun time, honestly. And Elley ended up buying Kit's treehouse! I'm sooooo jealous. They're retiring it, and not like I have $250 but I'm still crushed. At least maybe now I'll be able to go play at Elley's house with hers. I forgot what Shannon ended up getting, but I nabbed Kit's Sailor Pajamas because I'm obsessed with them and AG announced last week they were retiring them. I'm actually quite pissed, because they're retiring a shit ton of things I wanted. Those were the only ones I couldn't live without, although I may still try and pick up Kit's workboots, and I will probably cry if Josefina's bed & bedding set end up at some outrageous second-hand price as I really really want them. I did convince myself I could live without Kit's typewriter (it was hard...) and overalls, although I sort of want her coat after seeing it today (and I didn't before, wtf is wrong with me?). Every single time I go into the AG store, more and more gets added to my wishlist, and today it was sad, since most of the things will be gone soon. But I did get those Sailor PJs!! Also, I'm noticing, each time I go, I'm getting better and better customer service. The first time was complete trash. And the second time, I think we really only got attention because Matt & Jim were sort of big and obvious and imposing so when I was like "ma'am?" three ladies came running to help me, lol. But today, with Elley, we had GREAT service. I even got home, opened my PJs and there was a rip on the front! I went back and exchanged them for good ones, no problem (although, funny enough, the first box the girl pulled off the shelf was ALSO ripped). What scared me a little though, was that when we were standing in line to do the exchange, the lady in front of me with her two daughters spent $1485... that's right $1485. My brain exploded. I had trouble talking to the people when it was my turn, because I was still in shock. Just... holy shit.

I swear my mother must've happened on a Fire Sale of P.J.'s - I seem to have a different set on in each of these pix in front of the fireplace and I don't think they're all from different years... strange....But they are all equally repugnant in pattern. We can only imagine the horror if these were color snaps...
