DOC'S DELIGHT - SPIRIT IN THE SKY - CHESHIRE CAT - JULIETTE Michael began ballooning in Oklahoma in 1987 with his
parents, and his wife Josie got her start in Missouri in 1989. Michael is a Commercial Pilot having amassed almost 1400 hours as PIC. He and Josie first met at the 1995 Wake Up to Missouri US Nationals in Columbia, MO where Josie and her dad Joe were assigned to Michael and his family as crew for the 3 years that the Nationals were in Columbia, as well as other events around the area. 2009 will mark their 10th year of marriage. The Scotts own and operate Flying High Balloon Services, LLC, an FAA Certified Balloon Repair Station which is currently certified to work on 18 different brands of balloons and is able to offer mobile repair/inspection services to its customers. They are also dealers for Firefly Balloons. Michael works in the repair station and Josie is the Practical Nursing Coordinator at Metro Technology Centers.
