Membership InfoMembership for 2010 is only $43 ($28 if Torrey, Carlton Oaks or Eastlake is your WPLGA home course) per year plus $12 a year for sweeps prizes. Renewals are due by Oct 28th. Go to the bottom of the Team Play page to print out the membership form.
We play a different sweeps game each playday. Check our Schedule and Game Descriptions pages for information on the sweeps games we play.
We have additional optional games each playday for chip-ins, long drive and closest to the pins. These are 50 cents each. There is also an optional Putts and Ringers game for $2 every 6 months. We also have a 3 Putt fund. Members contribute 25 cents for each 3 putt they have on a playday up to a maximum of $1 per playday. This money is used to pay for the food and drink at our annual end of year party in December.
We do all of our signups and pairings by email. We have 8 tee times each playday and we play two Saturdays each month at Balboa Park 18. Our tee times are 7:49 to 8:42am.

Playday Procedures
- Green Fees: Pay at the starter when he calls your name.
- Carts: Pay for the cart in the proshop. Balboa charges one price for a cart so indicate whether you want to walk or ride when signing up so we can try to pair you accordingly.
- Women's Club Room (inside the ladies restroom): Check your name on the pairings sheet to indicate you're present. Also, signup and pay for any of the optional games (chip-ins, closest to the pins and long drive).
- Score Cards: Each group must keep 3 cards.
- Handicap card - Full names, IDC numbers, Handicaps, Date, Signatures and Adjusted Scores. Put a dot for each adjustment next to that score and be sure to Post your Adjusted Score. Please BE NEAT! Put the handicap card in the wooden box marked handicap in the Glass Cabinet.
- Sweeps card - Full names, Handicaps, Date and Game score. The Pairings sheet will have the day's game. Turn into Gail.
- Putts and Ringers - Full names and Date. Circle any better scores on the score card and on your yellow putts & ringers card. Place the yellow P&R cards in the score card and put it in the back of the Putts and Ringers folder.
- Establishing a Handicap - If you do not have an IDC number then you must save your signed, attested and dated score card to be posted when your membership is processed and you receive an IDC number. Once you get an IDC number you must post your scores at the course. Save your cards where ever you play so they can be posted when you get an IDC number. It will take 5 posted scores to get a handicap.
