Jennifer Batey's Bio

With over 14 years experience in group fitness and personal training, I am still passionate about creating fun and effective ways to lead others in fitness. In June of 2009 I attained my Outdoor Fitness Bootcamp certification through SCW Fitness Certifications. I am also a SCW Fitness certified Personal Trainer. In October of 2010 I became certified to teach PIYO classess. I have cutting edge training in interval and circuit training and a wide variety of exercise applications. 

I am also a 33 year old wife and mother of four children (3 of which I home school).
Tallahassee has been my home since 1996 when I moved here to attend Florida State University. In 2000 I completed my undergraduate degree in Music Therapy. After college I worked as a personal trainer and aerobics instructor at our local YMCA's and taught cycling classes at Legends. I have developed two businesses within the last three years: Doodlenotes (a child development music group) and Nametags (customized Name-art).

Balanced Life Group Fitness
combines both my love of fitness and people. I am passionate about helping woman to increase in the knowledge and application of stewarding their bodies.  I hope to be an encouragement, example and a resource for people desiring to be fit.  I believe that taking care of our bodies is key to being all that we were created to be, and to do all that we were created to do.
