ESTHER FOUNDATION - BaksNieuws

The Esther Foundation is a non-profit organization located in Timisoara, Romania. They are dedicated to sustaining and protecting human life. Primary goal and wish is to demonstrate Christ's love to women who are in crisis with unwanted pregnancies by offering them spiritual, emotional, material and medical assistance. They dedicate themselves to seeking and revealing what is the best option for the woman in crisis. The Esther Foundation came into being as a natural result of an alarming growth in the number of abortions in Romania after the revolution in 1989. Over 1 million abortions were performed between 1958 and 2008 in a country with a population of 22 million. Right now about one third of the pregnancies and in an abortion.

- Developing different programs with which to facilitate communication within certain heterogenic communities (multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-cultural, multi-religious, )
- Editing and distributing publications (brochures, bulletins, magazines, books...)

For the Estera foundation, spring has been full of special events: we’ve celebrated. Mother’s Day with “Club Mami” projects. We had several guests and we’ve also offered our mommies presents and flowers handed to them with a lot of love by the foundation’s director, Ghita Alecsei.
