 Bakewell Croquet Club is a fairly new club, our emphasis is on the informal fun side of the game. During our first few seasons we have tended to play Golf croquet. This type of croquet has simpler rules. It is more interactive than Association Croquet and therefore arguably more sociable. We have two full sized lawns which are situated at Bakewell Recreation Ground in front of the Cricket Pavilion.
Croquet is a game of skill, artistry, cunning, subtlelty, accuracy and even psychology, but especially one of fun. |
