Since Solon's new web site July 2011, all the BB Rd pages are gone, they have been added here under Solon Web Pages.
The new Notify Me only sends links to the current status report to see the history look at the Weekly Update pages. |

Earlier this month the link to the road.html page containing Busch's Bible (Patton inspired memos) disappeared and only the Bainbridge Rd Status page link appeared on Solon's home page. Now as the project start nears, the Bainbridge Rd Status page link has been moved from the home page to a reformatted but still erroneous road.html page that reappeared as a link on the home page. The section on the bottom titled "Maintenance of Traffic" is WRONG, see the Solon Road page in the sidebar here for corrections. You can find the link to the Status Page just above the County's Twitter logo on the road page. |

After (then) Mayor Patton took a stand on this project, City Engineer John Busch put together a set of documents that some refereed to as "Busch's Bible". They include memos from Council and the Administration used to justify their MOT 2 way decision. These documents were posted on the road.html page which was listed on Solon's home page, deleted, then reappeared..
These links have been removed from Solon's published web site, although the content remains on their site as orphan files. You can see that page and all its links, along with factual corrections at the Solon Road link on the left sidebar. For a followup on this go here. |

Newsletters related to this project dating back to 2005 have been uploaded to the file section in the folder named "NEWSLETTERS". Thanks to Dale for scanning and providing them to us.
Note that in 2005 there was an open house and that the temp pavement was to be added to the north side (within the right of way), at some point a major change was made to move it to the south side but no open house was conducted until just recently.

At the 9'/21/09 meeting with City Officials I saw
substantial changes to the Construction Plans Pg 15-25 dealing with the
dogleg at SOM and the General Notes and Maintenance of Traffic Notes.
I will add info here soon and summarize the updates.
The BB Rd Notes may be moved to and maintained on Google Docs at a later time.
Two documents are now available on Google Docs
NOACA reports now posted, including a brand new one in Sept. 2009. |
